Proper dance floors, lighting and sound

We take dancing very seriously, and therefore the floors throughout the Byre are sprung wood. In fact, the reclaimed maple wood came from Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow. Proper, sprung wooden dance floors are designed for a party whether a ceilidh or a disco being much kinder on the joints than stone, or other solid floors (and they are less noisy, too).

Our professional-grade sound and lighting gives you first class sound and effects for dancing, live music and entertainment.
